Lina Osman is a distinguished leader in sustainable finance, ESG strategy, and transition finance, with nearly two decades of experience in corporate & investment banking and sustainability roles. Most recently, she served as Head of Sustainable Finance, Africa & MENAP at Standard Chartered Bank, where she carried full P&L accountability for the bank's sustainable and transition finance business across two of its most strategically important regions, having also led the Europe & Americas sustainable finance team between 2022 and 2024.
Throughout her career, Lina has personally originated and executed landmark, award-winning green, social, sustainability-linked and transition finance transactions — regional and global market firsts — while advising regulator, corporate, and leading sovereign wealth funds on translating ESG frameworks into commercial and financing decisions. She also currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer of Intelligence Credit, an AI-powered credit intelligence platform, applying two decades of institutional credit and banking experience to how AI and automation are reshaping financial risk and reporting.
A Board Member of the Clean Energy Business Council MENA, where she led the Council's Climate Finance Working Group, Lina is a sought-after speaker at senior industry forums on sustainable and transition finance, and now serves as a Senior Advisor to RO-SE. Lina holds a BSc in Business Administration (Accounting & Finance, with a minor in Economics) from the American University of Sharjah, graduating Magna Cum Laude, followed by an Executive MBA, with Distinction, from London Business School, and has further deepened her expertise in financial technology through the Fintech Programme at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
